RECOVERY & RESULTS
Lip injection results will be immediately visible, though swelling, redness and possibly bruising will likely be present for several days following your appointment. These side effects should gradually fade away over the next few days, revealing your final results. It can take up to two weeks to see your final outcome after your lip augmentation, so we recommend scheduling your appointment at least two weeks before an important event.

The most common type of lip enhancement uses non-surgical dermal fillers to enhance the appearance of your lips. The filler is carefully placed in the lips to achieve fuller volume, treat asymmetry and fine lines and/or reshape the lips.
While non-surgical lip augmentation does have limitations compared to surgical lip enhancement, lip augmentation using filler is a relatively quick and easy procedure with little to no downtime and results that can last for several months.
Lip enhancement uses facial fillers that contain a naturally occurring sugar called hyaluronic acid to plump, reshape and/or address asymmetry in your lips. Hyaluronic acid is known for its ability to retain up to 1,000 times its molecular weight in water, allowing it to offer a smooth, natural-looking plumping effect.
Hyaluronic acid lip fillers can be dissolved before fading away on their own if you are unhappy with your results or would like to return to your normal appearance for any reason. Other types of filler cannot be dissolved, making hyaluronic acid a popular choice.
Lip enhancement primarily addresses the lips, although many people choose to also include filler around the mouth and nose to address lines, wrinkles and other minor skin imperfections.
Some of the most common uses for lip enhancement with filler are to:

Starting as early as our late 20s, our lips actually start getting longer and thinner, turning downward and inward. So, restoring what has been lost first is the most important step. - Add volume.

Lip injections can last around six to 12 months before requiring a touch-up treatment.

Lip enhancement using facial fillers is not permanent and usually lasts up to twelve months or more before a touch-up treatment will be required to maintain your same results.
