What To Expect
Before your IPL photofacial, our staff will examine your skin and prepare a specific treatment plan suited to your concerns. During treatment, our staff will use the handheld IPL device to deliver light therapy to the targeted area(s). Treatment takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes to complete. Plus, IPL photofacial involves minimal discomfort or downtime.
Recovery & Results
Once your treatment is finished, you may experience mild redness and swelling, depending on the intensity of your treatment. (For example, dark spots near the surface of skin require a lighter setting than redness, which is deeper within skin.) Be sure to avoid sun exposure following your treatment, as it can diminish your results and cause unwanted side effects. Also, be vigilant about protecting your skin with sunscreen every day of the year to maintain the radiant results of your IPL’s! We may also send you home with a few medical-grade skin care products, specially selected for your unique needs, to keep you glowing strong all year long.
