WHAT TO EXPECT
PRP/PRF hair restoration is a well-tolerated, non-surgical treatment used to stimulate new hair growth. To ensure your comfort, we will numb your scalp prior to treatment with a topical numbing agent. PRP/PRF hair restoration involves drawing a small portion of your blood and spinning it in a specialized centrifuge to isolate vital growth factors of PRP/PRF. We then carefully inject PRP/PRF into your scalp to revive dormant hair follicles and trigger new hair growth in the months to come.
RECOVERY & RESULTS
Following your PRP/PRF hair restoration treatment, you may experience some swelling, soreness, redness and possible pinpoint bleeding at the injection sites. Any side effects should resolve in the hours to days following treatment.
PRP/PRF immediately starts reactivating dormant hair follicles after it’s injected. However, hair growth is a slow process, meaning it can take up to two months before noticeable results appear. We typically recommend a series of treatments spaced a month or so apart to achieve optimal results.
